Hello friends and neighbors,
This week, I have been researching several important issues. Firstly, the demolition of Ocean Breeze Apartments in Dartmouth underscores the ongoing loss of truly affordable housing. Secondly, there is a dispute over the infill development at Dartmouth Cove. Lastly, the province has implemented changes to the Halifax Charter regarding planning regulations.
I invite you to join me tomorrow at the Spring Garden Summer Party from 11 AM to 2 PM to celebrate Spring Garden Road and show your support for Team Breckenridge!

Exciting progress is being made on the heritage application for 6105 Willow St as it moves to scoring at the HRM Heritage Advisory. This further supports my efforts to establish a Woodill-Young Heritage District in the area. Recognizing the community values and character of neighborhoods will enhance the quality of life in Halifax.
St. Mark’s Church on Russell Street is moving forward with a tower addition to the church.
