This week, I have been researching several important issues. Firstly, the demolition of Ocean Breeze Apartments in Dartmouth underscores the ongoing loss of truly affordable housing. Secondly, there is a dispute over the infill development at Dartmouth Cove. Lastly, the province has implemented changes to the Halifax Charter regarding planning regulations.<\/div>\n

Exciting progress is being made on the heritage application for 6105 Willow St as it moves to scoring at the HRM Heritage Advisory. This further supports my efforts to establish a Woodill-Young Heritage District in the area. Recognizing the community values and character of neighborhoods will enhance the quality of life in Halifax.<\/div>\n

St. Mark’s Church on Russell Street is moving forward with a tower addition to the church.<\/div>\n
